Cat Eye Sunglasses: Sexy Eyes

Kourtney Kardashian

Looking for some new shades for the season? The cat eye style is the new in look. They are super flattering for most face shapes and are oh so stylish. They can add a high fashion look to any get up.

Celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, Scarlette Johansson, and Nicole Richie have all sported these funky shades. They can go perfect with any outfit, but I personally think the cat eye glasses are a bit more on the dressier side. This look also goes great with red lips!

Urban Decay Naked: Dazzling Eyes

This palette is undeniably one of the best! It has all the right shades of colors for any kind of look. Whether it is for a natural daytime look or you are going for a  smoky eye at night, this palette has all the right colors.

Naked by Urban Decay comes with 12 different colors, a brush, and an eye primer. The eye primer is a great addition to the package because it keeps the eye shadow on for hours without any smudges or clumps.

Natural Colors

These colors are the lighter, more natural colors. They are perfect for any daytime look, but can even be played up for a sparkly nighttime look. My personal favorite color is Sidecar; it is so sparkly and girly. I think it looks great as a basic daytime color, but I also always try to use it with my nighttime look as well.

Dark Colors

This end of the palette is definitely geared more towards a smoky/nighttime look. With colors like Gunmetal and Darkhorse, you can either go for a black/silver or brown/gold smoky eye.

You can purchase this palette at either Ulta, Sephora, or the Urban Decay website. This product has been flying off the shelves and is very often not in stock, so get it when you can! This palette goes for $48, which is a great price considering these eyeshadows individually go for $17 each.

Michael Kors iPhone Case: The Must- Have Clutch

Do you struggle finding the perfect bag/wristlet to use when you go out or just to use on a daily basis? Well, Michael Kors has got you covered. He has come out with the most practical wristlet. Since everyone is turning over to iPhone's lately, this bag and iPhone case can be used by most college students.

It is small, yet fits all your everyday essentials. It obviously has a perfect slot for your iPhone that keeps it very protected. In addition, it has slots on the side for cards and money. I know for me personally this is all I really need on an everyday/night basis at college.

This item has become so popular that many of the colors and styles are even back ordered. In my sorority a majority of girls in my pledge class with iPhones have this case because it is practical and stylish all in one wristlet.

The iPhone cases come in a number of styles from snake skin, patent leather or leather. There are also a number of different colors like gold, black, red, and brown. Michael pretty much made a style for everyone.

You can get these bags on the Michael Kors website (Michael Kors) or at the Apple Store (Apple Store).

Sparkly Nails: A Glittery Touch

Get in the holiday spirit this winter with sparkly nail polish. It is a great addition for a holiday or New Year's outfit because around this time of year it's all about the sparkle and glitz.

Sparkly nail polish is the new, fun way to spice up your nails. Whether you prefer gold, silver, or multicolor, the sparkes can really make a statement. Although it is just a nail color, the glitter can jazz up an outfit.

Paris Hilton

Celebrities from Katy Perry, Beyonce, and Paris Hilton have been sporting the sparkly nails. Whether they're just out on the town or at a red carpet event, celebrities are catching on to this trend.

I personally think adding some sparkly nail polish to an ordinary color is simply just fun and artsy. Step outside of the basic, overdone colors and bedazzle your nails!

[OPI]

OPI is a great brand that dedicates a whole line to sparkly nail colors, called Burlesque. You can find OPI nail polish at drug stores or ULTA.
Sephora also carries some great sparkle nail polish.

Colored Jeans: Tight and Bright

Yes, colored jeans have been sold in stores for years, but they have never been so in style as they are now. Every color of the rainbow is being featured in department stores and by designers that its pretty hard to go wrong with this trend. But choosing a color should really depend on the season. For example, light pink or yellow should not be worn in the fall, and maroon can't be sported in the summer.

As a general rule when choosing a pair of colored jeans, they should be skinny or at least straight legged. Flared color jeans can come off tacky and can look like dress-up. There are some cute flared color jeans, but just be wary. As a basic rule with colored denim, the tighter the better.

Celebrity Trend Report

This trend is ever so popular with celebrities. By looking at what they're wearing with the jeans it helps give you an idea how to create an outfit. Blazers and sweaters look great with the pop of color! As for shoes, pretty much any type of shoe (boot, bootie, flat) would work with the jeans.

Celebrity Trend Report

Red jeans are the color of the season. Celebrities everywhere are sporting red denim. Any shade of red from fire engine red, burgundy, plum, or eggplant are all in. It looks great with black and white clothing and accessories.

If you're curious of what brand of jeans to buy that are both comfortable, yet stylish, I've got you covered. Urban Outfitters and American Apparel have a wide variety of brands, styles, and colors for pretty decent prices if you want to stay on the cheaper end. (Urban OutfittersAmerican Apparel)

If you're willing to splurge on a pair of jeans, there are some great designers who make colored denim. J Brand, Rich and Skinny, and Joe's Jean have great colors for the season that are always super flattering and comfortable. (J BrandRich and SkinnyJoe's Jeans)

Red Lips: Add a Pop to Your Pout

Fierce. This is the best way to describe red lips. This bright accent to your face is sure to turn heads and brighten up anyone's look. Red lips are perfect if you're wearing all black or even something simple because it adds a bold pop of color.

This make-up trend has been very popular among celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Kourtney Kardashian. The red lipstick can either add a very classy touch to your look or can be a funky twist. The most important thing to remember is to keep our eyes simple and not dramatic otherwise with the red lips it would be overboard and tacky.

Leopard Print: Get in Touch with Your Wild Side

Celebrity Trend Report

Leopard print is this season's best way to spice up a plain outfit.  It is as easy as adding one staple piece like a shoe, belt, or scarf. This funky animal print pretty much goes with any color or kind of outfit, which makes it so versatile.

ANNNIE-L [$99.98 Steve Madden]
Leopard Scarf [$59.50 J.Crew]

Leopard print does not only have to be an accent piece like a bag or belt, but can also the whole outfit. Designers and stores have been showing leopard print dresses, jeans, shirts. Many people may think this is a little intense or bold and therefore it does take the right person to wear a lot much animal print.

The best way to rock leopard print ensemble is to accessorize properly. The most important accessory is definitely confidence! Beyond this you should should make sure your jewelry, make-up, bag, shoes, etc. does not contrast or take away from your outfit, but compliments the leopard. By that I mean do not add any other prints or staple pieces.

The High Bun: Stylish and Sleek

Kim Kardashian

Sleek, easy and stylish. The high bun is the epitome of chic. With your hair completely pulled back it accentuates your facial features and does not take any attention away from your outfit. This is the perfect hairstyle to be paired with dramatic make-up or a high collared clothing garment.  It is simple, yet edgy.

Quick & Easy 2-Minute How To Video

Celebrities have been quick to catch onto the high bun trend. They wear it to everything from their high profile events to places as mundane as the grocery store. It is so versatile and can be sported on so many different occasions. I consider it the new ponytail, but it doubles as a way to put your hair up and give you some edge.

Vanessa Hudgens

Not only is the high bun good for dressy occasions, but it works well even for an everyday look. If you just want to put your hair up and keep it out of your face this is the perfect do.

Depending on the occasion or look you're going for you can wear the high bun in many different ways. For a more polished look the key is to keep if very sleek and tight, but for a more casual or grungy effect it is important to keep it effortlessly messy.

Fur Vests: the Fashionable Way to Keep Warm

JJ Basics Faux Fur & Crochet Vest [$44 Nordstrom]

Fur vests are the perfect way to stay warm and be fashionable during this fall/winter season. These vests are the new staple pieces seen everywhere from the runways to the streets to college campuses.

During the cold months it is very easy to just want to dress warm and comfortable and lose sight of the style element, but fur vests are the quintessential piece to be warm and fashionable.  They are more lightweight than a heavy coat and easy to just throw on over anything like sweater or t-shirt.

Tri-Color Faux Fur Vest [$29 Forever 21]

Something to keep in mind when shopping for a vest is to make sure the hairs are not too long because this can give it a tacky and even creepy look. There are so many different colors and patterns of fur vests and it may be difficult to decide what works best. Any neutral and natural colors are the most authentic and will probably go with a majority of your wardrobe so you can mix and match it.

Live a Little Faux Fur Vest [$98 Bloomingdales]

A great way to spice up a fur vest is with a belt. If a fur vest seems a little to chunky for you, the belt gives it a leaner look and it is also a great accessory! No matter what you wear the vest with or how you wear it you just have to rock it and you'll look great head to toe!
