Colored Jeans: Tight and Bright

Yes, colored jeans have been sold in stores for years, but they have never been so in style as they are now. Every color of the rainbow is being featured in department stores and by designers that its pretty hard to go wrong with this trend. But choosing a color should really depend on the season. For example, light pink or yellow should not be worn in the fall, and maroon can't be sported in the summer.

As a general rule when choosing a pair of colored jeans, they should be skinny or at least straight legged. Flared color jeans can come off tacky and can look like dress-up. There are some cute flared color jeans, but just be wary. As a basic rule with colored denim, the tighter the better.

This trend is ever so popular with celebrities. By looking at what they're wearing with the jeans it helps give you an idea how to create an outfit. Blazers and sweaters look great with the pop of color! As for shoes, pretty much any type of shoe (boot, bootie, flat) would work with the jeans.
